3 states in 3 days- Melbourne: Baci

——-08/03/2012——-

I didn’t deliberately choose to come to Baci, I chose it more for it’s convenient location (as we were staying at the Crown and heading towards the convention centre) and apparently not so coincidental convenient opening times (I later found out it is open 24 hours).

A concise and simple menu for breakfast that contains all the essentials including eggs benedict, muesli and French toast.

Enjoying the view while warming up with drinks- ‘Tea drop’ English Breakfast tea served on a cute matching tray ($4.00) and large mediocre coffee ($5.00).

Eggs Benedict2 poached eggs with ham and Hollandaise sauce on toasted bread ($15.90) I really liked their tangy Hollandaise sauce.

French toast2 slices with maple syrup ($11.90) I also got a side of bacon ($4.50 extra and not shown) to end off on a savoury note). The French toast was covered in cinnamon with a side of delicious freshly whipped cream and a really good maple syrup.

The service was quick and attentive, the food was good (nothing too exciting to blog about) but the only bad point was sitting outside meant we were sitting with all the smokers, too bad Melbourne doesn’t have the same smoking laws as Canbera.
