I have been a long time fan of Delissio both Curtin and Delissio Brasserie but over the last few visits (during both dinner and lunch) service has been slack and enjoyable meals went down hill. Despite this, my friend and I still get cravings for their delicious Linguini Oceana, so off we went to take a gamble on what kind of service we would get today.
Roast Pork Belly pomegranate glaze and apple slaw ($13.00). I truly loved the colours on the plate. The pork was good but could have been a little bit more crispy.
Zucchini Fritti lightly fried fritters with haloumi, cumin and shallots, a side of paprika yoghurt ($8.00). I thought they were a little undercooked on the inside.
Steak Frites– Angus Porterhouse grilled to your liking with shoestring fries and wine merchants butter ($27.00). The steak with butter and the salad were beautiful even despite some of the steak being cooked more than I had ordered it but I found the fries overly salted.
Linguini Oceana– prawns, calamari, fish, mussels and scallops sauteed in olive oil with garlic, chilli and fresh tomato ($25.00). Why do I keep straying to other dishes when this oldie but a goodie favourite between my friends rarely disappoints. Delicious and well cooked today.
We were too full to eat dessert even though the specials board did look tempting. The service has definitely improved a lot since we had last been, I hope that is the case for dinner service as well.
