I thought this appeared from no where but it has been a while since I walked down Ali baba’s way in civic. Gelato Joe’s sweet treats only just opened yesterday and has many Italian desserts, gelato, pies and coffee.
Nice to know that they have put so much love in their product.
They also have a window full of Italian sweets.
Caramel panna cotta ($3.90) I don’t know if they only had one cup size but I didn’t think I would still be able to see the bottom of the cup before I started eating. Despite the size the flavour was really nice, I did try their banana bread flavour but it wasn’t as good and slightly gritty.
Custard filled profiterole ($5.00) the cream tasted very alcoholic and strong but it was balanced out by the toffee top and choux pastry. I don’t think it is worth $5.00 and there was only a little bit of custard in the centre of the cream cloud.
They provide some limited seating.
There are a lot of gelato flavours so you should scoot on down and try the large range they have.
