I couldn’t think of a better way to spend Australia day morning than sleeping in and then having brunch at Farmers Daughter, so off we went (after a good snooze)!
Campos Coffee
No Ordinary Soldiers – the first has smoked salmon and creme fraiche, the second has parmesan and rocket and the third has proscuitto and romesco, all lined up in a row ($14.50). A lovely variety of flavours and surprisingly the first one was my favourite but it was a cold breakfast, I’d probably have this more as a snack.
Breakfast burger – soft poached eggs with bacon, baby spinach and hollandaise on a brioche bun ($16.50). Really well made but the brioche bun made it a bit too rich and filling.
It wasn’t a particularly fabulous brunch but I do like their unique breakfast menu.
