It’s that time of the year again folks where you dodgely park in the streets of Yarralumla, dust off the picnic rug and eat as many chicken satay sticks as you can. Who’s with me!
I’m eating out waaaaay faster than I can type and although my mouth is keeping up, I need to find time to write about all the great (and not so great) places I’ve been going to in the past week. I went Mocan and Green grout Wednesday night, back to Baitong on Thursday lunch, Sage for their taste testing Thursday night, ate out all day Friday, lunch at Wonder Meals Saturday, discovered C dine bar Saturday night, enjoyed the sunshine during Bloke’s high tea at Adore tea and then went to good ol’ Punjabi Hut for Father’s Day dinner.
I need to put down the fork/spoon/chopstick and pick up my laptop.
Dickson is forever changing. I’m only just getting used to the fact that Jimmy’s has moved down the road. Today I go there to grab lunch and find that Fire Stone has closed down, when did that happen?!
But that wasn’t the biggest shock.
As my friend drove past what used to be Four Rivers, my head turns exorcist style and I stop mid conversation as my eyes catch a glimpse of the sign for the new Peruvian restaurant Cholo’s which had apparently opened since late July.
Has anyone eaten here yet? I’m keen to go! Let me know what I must order and what to steer clear from.
