I sit here rocking back and forth bathing in the sunlight. It is the first time I’ve stepped outside in almost a week and it feels good. I’ve been under a doona since Monday night watching the same episode of ‘Orange is the new black’ because I kept falling asleep. Being sick for this long has really impinged on my plans resulting in postponing two dinners, a lunch and a weekend away stuffing my face full of pastries and ramen.

Anyway that was my mini rant about being stuck at home and trying not to infect the world while it is a glorious day outside. I hope you’re having a better weekend.
