One more birthday cake for the year. It might seem like I’m looking for reasons to eat cake (and I am) but who could say no to choux pastry on top of more delicious choux pastry.

Well that escalated quickly
I had reached a milestone in my blog recently. I finished my back log and I was up to date with my posts! This was a big deal for me and it ended all too soon.
My birthday month began and I wanted to celebrate with the wonderful people in my life and what was an empty list has now escalated to 9 drafts. Not that I’m complaining (too much) because I am lucky enough to experience all this but it was like finally getting around to raking all the leaves in your yard and just as you stood around admiring your work, a gust of wind comes and scatters them all over the place.
